More info on this new Dallas City Hall ad campaign can be found at HipHopGovernment.org. For now, here's their rather urgent message:
A Message of Urgency:The Hip Hop Government is calling on the National and International Hip Hop Community to take the mandatory stance needed to address the concerns of our generation. Together as a unit we will demand that our voices be heard and problems be resolved . We as the Hip Hop Government have the power to change the way elections, policies, laws, and the conditionings of our environment that are governed by the Power of Voting.
From Fox:
Written by DignanDallas City Hall kicks off its ad campaign in the anti-saggy pants battle to advise people to "Pull'em Up" with more than two dozen billboards.
Some billboards, including "Represent Yourself Like You Present Yourself," and "That's Not Hip-Hop That's Flip Flop" will go up at busy intersections and highways.
