Couples Retreat is the new Vince Vaughn & Jon Favreau film directed by none other than Mr. Red Rider Bee-Bee Gun himself, Peter Billingsley. Vaughn and Favreau wrote the script along with Dana Fox. It seems like a generic romantic comedy without the edge you’ve seen in the past from Vaughn, a la Four Christmases. If they truly cram the best laughs from a comedy into the trailer, I can wait to see this one in multiple, random viewings on Cinemax early next year.
