God, I love this movie. John Belushi was a comic genius and had far better eye brow acting than the current champion, Michael Keaton. This is a great Animal House / John Belushi poster and probably the most iconic image of the film. Not a bad price for the Animal House poster at $8.99. Animal House quotes after the jump!

Where the Wild Things Are Trailer Song

Tags: , ,

We’ve got the HD movie trailer for the Spike Jones movie adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s story, Where The Wild Things Are. The movie trailer has great energy, beautiful imagery and the movie looks like a great time for both children and adults. Jones is headed into new territory with a chidlren’s movie and hopefully his eclectic style will transpose nicely in this genre. The Where the Wild Things Are trailer song is none other than Arcade Fire’s “Wake Up” from their 2004 release, Funeral.

Here is the best-selling King Kong movie poster. This movie poster is from the 1933 film and would look great on any King Kong fan’s wall.

King Kong is a 1933 landmark black-and-white monster film about a gigantic gorilla named “Kong” and how he is captured from a remote lost prehistoric island and brought to civilization against his will. The film was made by RKO and was originally written for the screen by Ruth Rose and James Ashmore Creelman, based on a concept by Merian C. Cooper. A major on-screen credit for Edgar Wallace, sharing the story with Cooper, was unearned, as Wallace became ill soon after his arrival in Hollywood and died without writing a word, but Cooper had promised him credit. A novelization of the screenplay actually appeared in 1932, a year before the film, adapted by Delos W. Lovelace, and contains descriptions of scenes not present in the movie.

Great movie poster from the film Endless Summer. For more Endless Summer movie posters, click here.

The movie title comes from the idea, expressed at both the beginning and end of the film, that if one had enough time and money it would be possible to follow the summer around the world, making it endless. The concept of the film was born through the suggestion of a travel agent to Bruce Brown during the planning stages of the film. The travel agent suggested that the flight from Los Angeles to Cape Town, South Africa and back would cost $50 more than a trip circumnavigating the world. After which, Bruce came up with the idea of following the summer season by traveling around the world.

Here is the popular Rat Pack Pool Poster from the original Ocean’s Eleven movie with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Peter Lawford and Sammy Davis Jr. This is the sixties version of the Rat Pack (I was unaware the 50s version had Humphrey Bogart as chief, not Sinatra) on the set of the famous 1960 heist film that sparked the clever 2001 Clooney / Pitt remake of the same name.

Cheap Movie Poster: Not a bad price at $7.99 and the Art Print is priced decently at $23.99.
