There’s no question Megan Fox is incredibly attractive. Scratch that – she’s irresistibly attractive. Possibly the most attractive woman on the planet. I mean, I would club a baby seal to death in front of a drunken army of Greenpeace activists to smell her dirty panties, but I have problems. I’m definitely in the minority. Or am I? I can get to that later.

So, here’s an interesting question:

  • What does Megan Fox’s name do for a film?

I’m using Google for the search engine and getting my data from Wordtracker.

Kevin Smith Dogma Protest Interview

Tags: , ,

Everytime I think Kevin Smith is talentless hack, I have to go back to my teens when my perception of him was that of a filmmaking God. To put it simply, his writing offends people and that’s part of the charm. If Kevin Smith is a genius of any sort, there’s no better example than him protesting his own film, Dogma, with a bunch of Catholics in Eatontown, New Jersey back in 1999. Awesome, just awesome. Riding with Bonnie and Clyde by W.D. Jones

Tags: , ,

William Daniel “Deacon” Jones (May 12, 1916 – August 20, 1974) was a member of the notorious Barrow Gang in the early 1930s. Jones was an illiterate sixteen year old (possibly nineteen year old) from Texas when he joined the Barrow Gang on Christmas Eve 1932.

In 1968, Jones outlined his period with the Barrows in a Playboy magazine article. In that same year, he also filed a lawsuit against Warner Brothers, claiming the film Warren Beatty film, Bonnie and Clyde, “maligned” him and damaged his character. There is no record of him having collected any damages. I have the entire Playboy article after the jump. If you’re a fan of the film or are just a history buff, this is an extremely interesting read.

New Scarlett GI Joe Character Poster

Tags: , ,

Scarlett didn’t look this hot when I was growing up. She was plastic and stood about six inches tall. I’m one of the two right now looking at the other pic of Rachel Nichols (after the jump), but I’ll get to that later. This movie looks like a giant, steaming pile of shit and I can’t wait to see it. Anything with Dennis Quaid gets a viewing from me. It might be on HBO, but I’m going to see it. More pics after the jump!

The Boat That Rocked Goes With Focus

Tags: , , ,

The Boat That Rocked is rockin’ with Focus Features for US distribution. The film didn’t get the best of reviews from its overseas release, but the guys over at Focus really know what they’re doing. They are working with the producers to cut the film down a bit for American audiences and pushing back the release date sometime in November of this year.

From Variety via /film:

The Boat That Rocked Trailer

Tags: , ,

This looks like a fun movie. Set in 1966, The Boat That Rocked is a fictitious film about an offshore radio station, Radio Rock, who must battle the British government and BBC to keep the rock alive. The story takes some real events from the era, but does not represent any particular station. The trailer looks great and the soundtrack is amazing. It’s set for release in United States sometime in November of this year. HD trailer, synopsis, The Boat That Rocked soundtrack listing, cast and images after the jump!

2012 Movie Trailer #2

Tags: , ,

I keep coming back for more because Roland Emmerich sure can make destruction look beautiful. Apple released the 2nd trailer for Mr. Emmerich’s upcoming apocalyptic film, 2012, today. John Cusack is playing the standard John Cusack character and Danny Glover is the President of the United States. Should be fun and in theaters nearly 3 years before the end of the world. HD trailer and images after the jump!

LaToya Jackson Scene Removed From Brüno Film

Tags: , ,

The producers of Bruno cut a scene involving LaToya Jackson and Bruno only hours before the premiere in Hollywood, the day her brother Michael died. From the official Bruno site:

In the cut scene Bruno interviews LaToya Jackson in his chic LA apartment – after getting her to sit on his “chairs” – which are Mexican workers bending over – who then serve her sushi of the hairy body of a naked man.

Bruno proceeds to steal her cell phone so that he can copy Michael Jackson’s number dowm.
The original version of the film has already premiered in London, Paris and Berlin with the comic attracting a lot of attention because of his fancy dress.

Last minute cuts to a big-budget movie like Bruno are almost unheard of – the film opens across America on July, 10, 2009, and is being distributed by Universal Pictures in the US.

At last night’s Los Angeles premiere in Hollywood the red carpet for Bruno actually covered-up Michael Jackson’s official star on the walk of fame.

Trailer, synopsis and images after the jump.
